Animal Rights

the Animal Protection Act

I think the penalty is too lenient. Especially only the person, who abuses animals, causes serious harm to animal, uses live animals to be the prizes of game, and sells dead dogs or cats in the public that his/her photographs will be made in the News, Newspaper, and TV. I think the any person who was violence the amendment that their photographs should be published, not only above the reasons. According the amendment, I can’t help to think the punishment is effect, or not. Maybe the person who was be punished will abusing his or her animals more serious in the secret, and no one knows. I think if the people were being found, and their animals should be taken care by the government. The penalty is not sufficient to avoid the abusing. The government should give the sinner the lessons or asks to do something for public welfare. Only find the money is not enough.

I agree that serious cases of animal abuse should result in jail time, but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. I often wonder if even the fine is ever imposed. I strongly suspect is actually quite difficult to enforce this law, but at least it is a start. If enough people insist on the law being followed, it eventually will be,

Exactly! If no one sees the violence of animals, the criminals will do more strict to animals. That can't be avoided if they just want to treat animals as their toys. The best way is to observe those people by ourselves and it's better than enforced the laws by government.

Wow, so do you mean vigilante justice? Take the law in your own hands? I guess that would work for a while, but I think there are a lot of animals on the streets and the policy if they are caught is to destroy them if they aren't adopted within a certain amount of time. There should be a law against that if we want to stop animal cruelty, because that is a type of cruelty to animals too. We still need teams of investigators to catch people or else nothing will be done, even if there is a law.
