Respond to Second Life.
I think the words, everything is not impossible, is the best sentence to the 3D game. In Second Life, you can do everything which you didn't have chance to do and can't to do in the reality. The game is relying on the imagination. Every one can satisfy their own dream as create company to sale their things, be the lawyer, be a landlord, and so on. Many people work in the game very well, and extend the job to the real life. Many students use the game to promote their study. But I can't help to think the flaw in the game.
For example, you can go the school in the Second Life to learn everything, as you want. To most students, it is the wonderful thing. In my opinion, I don’t think it's a good idea to the students. The reason is that go to the real school, the student can learn the communication and interaction with the teacher and classmates, which can't be learned by the online game. Nobody could live without the connection of people.
Even though must people think the computer can substitute the human being in the future. I believe the computer can't replace the real life. Many things in the real life are worthy to learn that can't be learned in the book and the fictitious life as experiences of job, the communication with the family, and so on.

I see that your point of view for Second Life is very similar to mine. It's true that there are flaws in virtual education, but there are also positives in it. But who knows, maybe the people who support Second Life education will try to find solutions to the problems and overcome it! Then we won't even have to PHYSICALLY go to class. :)
Good job on the Second Life post, but it seems as though you are missing quite a few journal posts as well as your weekly issue post. You have lots to do to get caught up. Let me know if you have any questions.
